Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

Heading into my final season I wanted to leave everything I had out there on that field. I had goals of playing at a better weight this last season. My junior year, I played at 345 and was able to play at 310-315 my senior season. I also had goals of having my best games against the best teams we played and felt like I accomplished that.

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Aggressive, physical, and versatile.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I will be training in Hawaii at Ikei Sports. He will help me get stronger, faster, and lighter for pro-day.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

When I look at myself in film, I look for the details in my weaknesses. Looking to see if everything from where my weight is distributed in my feet in a stance to posture out of a stance and the control of my body. When I look at my strengths, I try to be critical and see how else I can improve my speed or amount of power I deliver in every step and punch. When looking at opponents, I look for tendencies they have and what their weaknesses and strengths are in individuals and defenses.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

I have played for two different coaches and was able to learn different schemes. I can play in a two point stance as well as a three point stance in both run and pass.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I played Defensive Tackle my freshman year before switching to Offensive Guard the following year. I am able and willing to play on both sides or learn any position I’m needed in. I can adapt to schemes because I had to in college. I play physical and strong with bad intentions in the run. I’m a team player and willing to do anything for the win.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

I’m passionate about football and would do or play anything the team or coaches needed me to. I’ll learn any position, play at any weight, and play with any technique a team wanted.
