Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

As far as team goals, I wanted to repeat as conference champions and advance deeper than the 1st round of the playoffs. Individual goals, I wanted to get selected as first team All-Conference. I also wanted to have 5 receiving TD’s and 4 rushing TD’s at the end of the season. Unfortunately, I only accomplished 2 out of 3 of those goals.

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Electric, fast, efficient.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I’m gonna keep working and trying to perfect my route running, work on my feet, and catching the ball. Also my speed. I definitely want good speed training. I’ll most likely get relocated to Miami.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

I look for coverage giveaways and Defensive Back tendencies. When I’m watching a Linebacker at the slot position, I try to see how the Linebacker lines up and I look at their feet. The same for Defensive Backs. When they are playing press, I like to watch for what their initial move is off the ball.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

My biggest thing I would say is speed. I’ve always been the fastest player on whatever team I’ve played on. So, I began to take pride in the saying “Speed Kills”.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

On the field, I give 110% every rep and I know how to take coaching. I also encourage other players to be better and I love to compete. Off the field, I’m a respectable young man with good charisma. I’m good at being aware of when bad situations may arise and I make good judgements.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

I will be one of the hardest working and dedicated players in that locker room. On the field, I’m reliable and I provide a spark whenever is needed. I also love football.
