Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Being a grad transfer for my final season, one of my goals was to come into a new team and program and mesh with the culture, and brotherhood genuinely and I did that well. I also wanted to come in and earn my way to a starting position and be a productive part of my team and I accomplished that too. Lastly, I wanted to earn all-conference accolades like I had at my previous school. I fell short on my last goal but I believe my season was productive and most importantly and asset to my brothers/team.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say I’m a physical player that plays with great technique and understanding of the game. They would also say i’m someone who shows love to the guys he plays with and plays with passion for them.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When looking at myself, what I try to focus on first is how well I’m doing my job within the scheme of the defense and what steps I can take to do it better. Next, I focus on my technique. Things like hand placement, where my eyes are, and how my feet move. Lastly, is my opponent. Whether it’s games or practice I try to pick up on things the offensive lineman do because it makes my game more tactical. For example an offensive lineman having high hands or low hands affects your pass rush plan.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I believe what separates me from the other pro prospects at my position is my quickness, physicality, technique, passion, and instinctual feel for the game.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I have a trainer, and a facility to train at where I can work on my strength, speed, and position specific drills. Not to mention some of the best meal prepping that my mom makes available to me through her business.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I’m passionate about this game and I work hard for not just what I want to accomplish but the goals of the team. I have a instinctual feel for the game of football that is intensified by my physicality, and technique.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

You’re going to get a player who’s goals and aspirations haven’t come easy but found a way to make it happen. Someone who plays with physicality, skill, and bad intentions. So why not take a chance, I promise you won’t regret it.
