Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Ryan: Physical, fast, smart.
Q: How are you going to train/prepare this offseason in preparation for the draft or other pro opportunities?
Ryan: I’m going to get bigger, faster, and stronger by eating right, weightlifting, agility training, speed drills, stretching, and yoga.
Q: If you could compare yourself to one current or former NFL player who would it be and why?
Ryan: Eric Weddle, we are similar in stature and because of his high football IQ, instincts, and physicality.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
Ryan: Tendencies based on formations, packages, down and distance, personnel, and hash. Anything to hint away run/pass and give me an easier read.
Q: What separates you from other players at your position?
Ryan: My ability to read pass or run, my run support skills, my tackling, my communication, and most importantly, my game day preparation.
Q: What kind of abilities would you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Ryan: Fast learner, understands defensive concepts, high character, and easy to get along with.
Q: What is your final pitch/sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
Ryan: I will outwork my competition and over prepare in every aspect of the game. I just need a shot to prove that I can play at a high level and I can compete with anybody out there.
