Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

John: Physical, fast, outlasting.

Q: How are you going to train/prepare this offseason in preparation for the draft or other pro opportunities?

John: I am training on campus on a tier system. Implementing weight training, resistance training, as well as positional work.

Q: If you could compare yourself to one current or former NFL player who would it be and why?

John: T.J. Lang. He is always physical and continues to grow as a player every year.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

John: I typically look for pre snap tendencies that the DL has. I.e. Tilt, hand pressure, alignment etc. I also look for what they do after first contact. I like finding their favorite move after the first punch.

Q: What separates you from other players at your position?

John: I believe that I have better work ethic and a higher motor than most offensive lineman. I pride myself on my feet and hands/punch as well.

Q: What kind of abilities would you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

John: I’ll be a first in last out kind of player. I will do whatever is necessary to make the team better. I will bring energy and effort every single day. Off the field, I love doing philanthropy and being out in the community. Being on a platform like that is such a great opportunity to give back to those less fortunate and put God on an even higher pedestal.

Q: What is your final pitch/sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

John: When you invite me to a workout or a camp you will get a player that will stop at nothing to become the best player that he can. You will get someone who will build up a group of players or team to reach their best potential and you will get a team first player. No matter where I am initially put, I will outwork whoever I need to to get the job. I have an unrelenting passion for the game of football and have strong faith to couple with that.
