D’Mauri: If I had to describe my style of play in three words it would be tenacious, explosive, and aggressive.

Q: How are you going to train/prepare this offseason in preparation for the draft or other pro opportunities?

D’Mauri: I am now training at Chris Chambers facility known as Chamber Fitness. Chamber Fitness works on every aspect of my game, from speed work, all the way down to film, which helps my technique as a receiver.

Q: If you could compare yourself to one current or former NFL player who would it be and why?

D’Mauri: If I had to choose one current NFL player to compare my game style to, I would have to say DeAndre Hopkins because he likes to play big, physical, and can also move and catch with soft hands. Being able to understand coverages well and know how to capitalize from it.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

D’Mauri: When I study film, I focus on technique that I need to work on as a receiver. Then, I try to understand all of the coverages from the opposing team that we are focused on. Also, I focus on the defender’s techniques to figure out how to beat him.

Q: What separates you from other players at your position?

D’Mauri: What separates me from other people in my position is that I’m relentless, I love to learn and get better each and everyday. All of my life I’ve been the underdog, so my work ethic has always been a factor for me. I play smart and fast. I love to play physical and beat my opponent in every aspect of the game.

Q: What kind of abilities would you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

D’Mauri: Abilities that I will bring to a team on the field and off is maturity, respect, and the ability to show accountability.

Q: What is your final pitch/sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

D’Mauri: You will get a hard worker that will sacrifice anything to help make the team better. I love the game of football, and I am just blessed to be able to put on pads and go to work each and everyday. You won’t regret it.
