Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I wanted to win a conference championship Atleast once in college and make a return to the NCAA playoffs like we did my freshman year. We didn’t accomplish either one of those but I did still receive some personal accolades. My last season I was named First team all conference for the 3rd year and all American for the 2nd time in my 4 year career.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would probably say I don’t really know how good I am or could be. They would say I’m humble and I’m a good listener. I love to learn from any and every situation I’m in. Even tho I’m known as humble and pretty calm on gameday I tend to turn it up bit , I’m known for my trash talking to my match up and the sideline. I like the challenge of backing up what I say . It gives me a competitive edge every play.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When I watch post game film and practice film , I try to see what I did wrong every play , especially the plays when I didn’t realize exactly what I did wrong while I was on the field. I have pretty good football knowledge to be able to correct myself before the coach does. If I’m studying film for an upcoming opponent I try to see tendencies such as , alignment on run and pass plays and body language on run and pass plays also on plays when the receiver knows the ball is coming his way.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I feel like my potential is sky high. I perform the best in our toughest games, I love stepping up to the challenge. If I’m surrounded by the best coaches, players, and facilities I feel as though the sky is the limit. I have played CB my whole college career but I feel I have the knowledge and frame to play both Corner or Safety.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I have been working at E.A.T.S gym in Rockville MD with Colin Quay. Also I’ll be attending WVU pro day late next month in March.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My strengths on the field would be length and speed, and my ball skills at DB. Most people think DB’s are just WR’s that can’t catch. I played WR in high school and and QB all my years of little league. I feel that set me up with a nice skill set that most DB’s don’t have. Off the field , I’m a great listener, I’ve been told I know how to make people feel good and bad about themselves . It’s not good to make people feel bad about themselves but sometimes you need that friend in your life who will keep it straight with you when others won’t. Not all lessons are easy to learn.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

My message to all NFL teams is , I’ve played this game since I was 7. I’ve learned so many things on and off the field from it. Like I said earlier I love learning from situations and experiences and people . It wasn’t easy getting here to even having the chance to be in the NFL but I did it. From only starting one year of varsity football in high school to starting 3 years in college and becoming a 2x All American . I know I can overcome adversity, I Would love to see how I can flourish in setting such as the NFL.
