What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My main goal for my final season was to have more of a relentless effort to the ball. While I played majority of my snaps at cornerback, I knew I would have to get around the ball more to create more opportunities for myself. I accomplished my goal and the film would agree too; I would not have made a good amount of plays if it were not for that goal I set for myself.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

The extra year of eligibility allowed me to get more game film and answer questions that scouts might have. I also got the chance to go head to head with some top prospects and All-Americans and win those battles. The main thing that I took advantage of was staying consistent and showing how efficient I am. The data analytics attached to my career would present the same outcome.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I believe that they would all say that I stay true to the process and work very hard. I am the type player to figure out what is needed of me and master it.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I pay attention to the small details that often go unnoticed. I also focus on trends of an offense as well as wide receiver tendencies. All these things help me play faster which results in me playing better.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I understand that the NFL is a business and it is all about efficiency and productivity. Most people just look at the NFL as a game, which is the reason why they struggle I feel. Playing in the NFL is a job and I understand that and I am willing to be a piece to the puzzle of any team.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I recently played in the FCS Bowl and Dream Bowl, but right now, I am getting ready for my pro-day opportunity. After that, I will change up my training and go from there.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My biggest strength is that I am a sponge and once I am taught something I can apply it immediately; I had to learn an entire play book in 2 days for both of those bowl games and did it easily. On the field, I can strengthen a team because I understand my assignment and do it efficiently and consistently every time. Off the field, I am a true professional and understand that I represent my family, where I come from, and my organization everywhere I go.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I know that my film speaks for itself and the accolades that I have speaks for who I am as a person. I know with an opportunity, I can help with the build of a championship. I am all in wherever I go and ready to put the work in to accomplish my personal goals as well as team goals.
