Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?
I took my extra year of eligibility to increase my chances of going pro by doing more of what I did earlier in my career I was able to get more playmaking clips on film and allowed myself to be invited to post-college football games and combines.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say I’m the type of player who knows the work that’s gotta be put in, to reap the rewards sought out. They would say I have an infectious passion for the game that allows me to elevate on the field with those around me.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When watching film the things I watch to help improve my game are the tendencies and pop plays that offensive have gotten on their opponents. I also watch the things that may have caught me in previous games that an OC might try to take advantage of. Every week of practice is sharpening the basic abilities, but also a clean slate of what to focus on that was lacking the couple weeks before.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me from other pro prospects is my elusiveness and quickness that allows me to make plays on the field. I also feel like my awareness allows me to put myself in the right place to shut down plays.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I have been workin out at the Build 2 Win Facility in Lansingburgh, NY with coach ZaQuan Irby to train and prepare for future professional opportunities.
