Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Some goals I set myself was to make All-Conference and bring in a winning season for this team. Even though my goals and expectations weren’t met, I proved to be one of the best corners in our conference. Didn’t get too many opportunities thrown my way and I feel as a player and a Corner my presence was felt on the field everyday.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

Leader, hardworking, someone that’s willing to give everything they got on that field to get the outcome. I would do anything for my teammates and being that person that you can lean on is something I take very seriously.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I study a lot. Formations, what the receiver likes to do on every down and what they like to do in open field, green zone and red zone. Studying movements and tendencies is what I’m all about and being able to slow the game down is key at the DB position.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My Football IQ, I feel like I’m one of the smartest players on the field. By studying and knowing what I’m getting I put myself in position to make the plays I need to make.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I’ve been training at Badlands Athletics so far this off season and I plan to also work with Win Performance out of Highland Park, IL. My overall goal is to work on my speed and get more explosive so that way I can prove that I belong. I’m already on the bigger size of DB so just fine tuning and polishing my game is the goal.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I’m playing to the whistle 100 miles per hour. I feel like I also have the tools to be versatile on the field and play every position in the backend. I’m also a player that is very approachable, being that countless players struggle with mental health. I can be that person that will sit down and talk with you whenever you need a helping hand.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

Give me a chance and I’ll surprise a lot of you. A lot of people didn’t expect me to make it this far and I don’t plan on not disappointing just yet.
