Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

For my senior year, I had a few goals that I set in place before the season. The first one was a team goal, to win our conference. We lost a couple close games and didn’t reach our full potential but we had a solid finish to the season to cap off the year. I set goals to become an All-Conference player again along with being an All-American. I earned All Conference but fell short of being All-American. I set a goal to be a leader on and off the field, and I believe I reached that goal. Overall, I just set my level of play to a high standard every day and continued to work my hardest. I think that shows in my film and overall career at the University.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I believe my coaches and teammates would say I am a highly competitive guy that will do anything for the team. An overall good teammate who wants best for the team. A guy that is coachable and willing to learn no matter what the circumstance is. Someone you can trust to make a big time play in any situation. A consistent player in practice and in the games. Someone that works hard in every aspect of the game; on the field, off the field, film sessions, in the weight room, summer workouts, etc. I believe I left a good impression on my coaches and teammates by being myself on a daily basis and showing my willingness to work hard and be great on the field.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I am studying film, I focus on a few things. I focus on how I can manipulate each teams defense depending on the coverages they are showing. I try to think about my releases off the line if I am playing outside receiver, or how I can gain leverage on the defense while I’m in the slot. I look at my route running to see what little things I can improve on to give myself a better shot to get open whether it’s in man or zone. I try to focus on the little things during film and do my best to bring that to practice and into the games.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I think what separates me from other pro prospects is my desire to work. I believe my work ethic is what has gotten me to where I am today and will continue to thrive as opportunities come my way. I just don’t stop, I play with an edge. I think my ability to make big plays at slot, returning kicks and punts really show I can play this game at a high level. My toughness sets me apart from others because I am not the biggest guy but I have been durable throughout my career in college and able to take on hits that come my way. My speed, route running and ability to catch the ball in traffic separate me from others. I believe that I am a consistent student of the game and always finding ways to perfect my craft, on and off the field. I am very coachable and always willing to learn. I also believe that my desire to engage and help out in the community of whatever team I earn an opportunity to play for sets me apart from others as well. I want to be great on and off the field.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

For training I have moved back to my hometown in Bozeman, MT to train with a guy named Josh Lewis, who owns Pregame Fitness. He has been my trainer every summer from High School, all the way through my college career. He has trained many college players for their combines and has helped them get a shot in the NFL. I have been preparing for my Pro Day since December and will continue to do so until the end of March, which is when my Pro Day is in Montana.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I think some of my strengths on the field are my abilities to play fast and catch the ball consistently in any given situation. I am able to win the 1 on 1 match ups and run great routes. My ability to find holes in the defense really allow me to be successful and manipulate defenses. Off the field, I believe that being a constant face in the community and helping out the ones who support you is huge. I am a guy that wants to be involved. I am a great locker room guy, always have a smile on my face and want to be a great teammate.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I am a small college player that can compete at a high level. I have so much fight and desire in my heart that will never allow me to give up. You will get a guy that shows up everyday with the intent to learn, improve, who will play the game hard and the right way. I will do whatever it takes to help your team improve whether that is with the practice squad, special teams, offense, etc. I love this game and have worked so hard to get to where I am today and will continue to do so for your organization if you give me the opportunity. That’s all I ever need is an opportunity to show you what kind of player I am. I really want to show you why you want a small town Montana kid on your team.
