What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

This season, my main goal was to help our team to a conference championship and to have a shot at the national playoffs. Unfortunately, we were not able to achieve those goals as a team, but had great efforts all season. Personally, I set goals to make the All-Conference and All-American teams. I was fortunate to be named 1st Team All-Conference.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I believe this extra year of eligibility helped me to become more of a student of the game. I was able to watch even more film and understand the game even better than before.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I believe my teammates and coaches would say I’m a player who leads by example and is a hard worker on the field and in the weight room. Also, I believe they would describe me as a team player, willing to do anything to win.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

A couple things I focus on when studying film is how tendency based teams are, along with the releases of receivers, and the steps or footwork of the offensive linemen. All of these help me improve my game and allow me to get a better understanding of what I will see out on the field.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Personally, I believe what’s sets me apart from other prospects is my overall diversity. I have the abilities to play Strong Safety along with the OLB/Nickel position. I can play the one high Safety position and guard sideline to sideline, along with roll down in the box and guard tight-ends, slots, backs, and even be an aggressive player in the run game.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

Currently, I am training at T3 Performance in Avon, OH. I am fortunate enough to be paired up with a handful of trainers who are helping me get ready for a pro day and to showcase my abilities.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

On the field, my strengths and abilities will be to play multiple positions and be a great player on special teams. Off the field, I will be a dedicated student of the game and put in all the extra effort it takes to become the best player I possibly can.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I am a player who wants to win at all costs. I will give everything I have the organization who takes a chance on me. I am extremely thankful to be in this position and ready to make an immediate impact no matter where that may be.
