Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

I wanted to continue to be the go to Receiver for our offense and grow as a leader to help the younger guys on our team. I wanted to finally win the conference. Personal goals, I wanted to lead the conference in all receiving stats.

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Smooth, reliable, poised.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

Mainly working on explosiveness and sharpening up my route running.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

I focus on the type of defense the opponent runs, if they switch Corners and Safeties based on field position or down and distance, and at the corner who will be on my side primarily. I watch to see if he tips off the coverage based on his feet and hands and where he lines up on every coverage. I also like to watch how the defense chases the ball and tackles.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

I believe my route running and deceptive speed is what creates my opportunities. Being able to make every route look the same is a skill I learned in high school and is still valuable to me. I was trained to always keep a DB guessing on what you are doing whether it’s blocking or running a route. I take more pride in blocking and helping to spring a big run than scoring a touchdown. I am very reliable when it comes to doing my job on a play.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I am a hard working, hard nosed player that can adapt and understand on the fly, game time adjustments to plays come easy to me and I know how to take advantage of any adjustment we need to make. Off the field, I am a very relaxed person, I keep myself out of trouble and can be a leader for my team.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

I love to improve myself and correct any part of my game that may not be up to par with the rest of my abilities. I am very confident in my ability to run every route in the route tree and catch any pass thrown in my direction.
