Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
The goals that I wanted to to set this past collegiate season was to not only make a positive impact on a new team, but to set a new standard for a program in the positive direction and be remembered for my impact on and off the field as an athlete and a leader.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say that I am the type of player to keep his team motivated while also being very coachable and executing my assignment to how it was coached.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
My main focus point in the film room would be to find any tendencies that the opposing offense does that I can use as an advantage on the field. Another key I focus on is what pass rush moves will work and what pass rush angles I should take against the offensive linemen.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
My speed and agility are what stands me out compared to others at my position and how quick I can pursuit to the ball as a defensive lineman.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My plan so far is to keep continuing to train in hopes of a pro day invite and using the connections I have with trainers to be ready for any professional opportunities coming my way.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
What I would bring to the table on the field is a player that can help in the pass game and putting pressure in the pocket, whether it’s a 1on1 or pass stunt into another gap with speed and quickness. Off the field, I want to help grow and support the community of where I’m at and serve as a leader and role model to others which will help grow a brighter and positive community.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
My final pitch to any professional league is if they are looking for a player that is ready to show up and compete at a high level and that is mentality and physically ready for any challenge ahead of them, then the answer they are looking for is right here and my phone and email is open to a new opportunity at the next level.
