Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My main goal during my final year of college was to try to be as close to perfect as I can be. Obviously, no one is ever perfect but in my mind if I could chase perfection every day, then I wouldn’t leave myself any room for disappointment when it came to me doing my job and I knew no matter what I was always giving my best effort to do what my team needed me to do on the field. This is also the same approach I took off the field as well, doing something every day to help bring me closer to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

The first thing they would say would be that I’m a teammate that is going to come and work hard no matter what the circumstances are. A teammate that is the hardest worker while at the same time is pushing his teammates to reach new heights on an every day basis. They would also say that I am a teammate that can bring a great source of energy to the players around me and one that is able to lead in the right way on and off the field, a teammate that other players naturally want to be around and get better with.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When studying film I like to focus on technique mainly. As a DB, you never know what exactly to expect but the way you watch film and use certain techniques can help you always put yourself in position to make the right play.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from other prospects at my position is my ability to be versatile and do everything that any coach would possibly need me to do. While I am not the perfect player, I do firmly believe that my athletic ability & desire to be the best allows me to be confident that there is nothing that I cannot do when it comes to playing the game of football. I am also a player who is very intelligent and can pick up fast on things that are new to me like plays, terminology, techniques, etc.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My plan is to really dive in and get into the best shape I can be in to put myself in position to take advantage of any opportunity that is thrown my way. That all starts with combine/pro day training and showing scouts that I am not someone that they want to pass on. Then from there, all it takes is one opportunity & I’m very confident that I will be able to show what I can do without a doubt.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

A team bringing me to join them will get a player that they can plug in anywhere. This is something that I have done throughout my whole football career and have became accustomed to taking pride in. They will get a teammate who brings out the best in his fellow teammates because of how I interact with them and because of how I naturally lead them on and off the field.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

Playing pro football is something that I have dreamed of since a child and now as it is right in front of me, I understand how real this process is. This is a dream that is bigger than just me. There’s not another DB out there that I would take over me and that’s just the confidence that I have in myself. I know that whatever team chooses to take that chance on me won’t regret it.
