Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

To surpass my defensive statistics. Doubled my passes defended and turnovers. I wanted to contribute significantly more on special teams and did. Was a dominant gunner on special teams with multiple tackles.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

Resilient. Never falter under pressure or uncontrolled circumstances. Can lead by example.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

Compare how the receivers act in the fourth quarter compared to the first. See if they are a “good start” guy or a “full game” player. Then see how casual they play the game. Are they dominating every rep or just waiting for the play call designated for them.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I played corner my whole career yet learned Nickel after just the third game of the season. Then my production shot up. I can learn the safety position as well. I’m effective and efficient on special teams, which I enjoy playing as much as defense.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I worked with the ACU strength staff prior to my pro day. Now I am working out the next month in Abilene in preparation for any pro opportunities.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

On the field, my dedication to make sure everyone is on the same page. We all want to win a superbowl, but we have to make sure that even the long snapper is working as hard as the starting quarterback. Off the field, my lack of “off the field issues.” I’m not a person to cause outside noises to effect the team’s progress to victory.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

53 man roster’s consist of the highest paid players on the team, higher draft picks, and starting specialists. In the end , there’s roughly 8-12 spots meant for WR/DBs that are also specialists. My versatility at all DB positions and special teams fills the gap of 3-4 players into one roster spot and the tape shows it.
