Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

Some of my goals included getting a winning performance in all games, create a continuous presence in the backfield, kill the run on first and second down, get at least a sack every game.

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Fast, hungry, disruptive.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I will focus on leaning my body and becoming even more athletic with my size. I also want to be quicker and faster. Pushing myself past my limits will prepare my body.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

I focus on the tendencies of an offense and how they want to attack us. Then the Offensive Lineman’s stance, then I move to anything that gives away pass and run, then any twitches that let me know they are snapping the ball.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

I think that other players focus on their strengths but I look at my performance in different perspectives to understand what needs to be improved with the plus of size and speed.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I will be bring consistent competition and energy because I’m out there not only to be on a team, but to actually add to the overall winning performance of the team. The edge a defense needs to bring juice and motivate the offense. I’m going to give 1,2,3 more than the next person. Off the field requires the same accountability and discipline as on the field.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

Real motivation and hard work is the only thing that can be sold because Everyone around you is going to get comfortable and I’m going to get it.
