What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
The goals I accomplished this season were becoming a better leader and really being a sponge to the game soaking in all the things I needed to become great and also help my teammates grow as well.
Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?
I feel as if I took my game to another level this season, all that time we had I took advantage of to put myself in better position to go to the next level.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would all tell you that I work hard and I’m selfless, being a leader and great player is not only about what I can do it’s also how do you help and make the players around you better everyday.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I like to focus on the things that could help me the next time I’m out on the field, I don’t want to see my highlights and the good plays because those are the things that will come to you I want to know how I can cut down on mental errors and put myself in the best position possible to make better plays.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me from others is me, I won’t sit and tell you everything you want to hear I will tell you that you will get everything I have and more I’m highly coachable and I’m always willing to go the extra mile to be successful.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I plan to get better everyday and leave nothing behind and maximize every opportunity.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
On the field I am a smart player who continues to increase knowledge of the game also I hate being out worked so I go hard all the time. Off the field I love doing many things I love the concept of giving back and being in the community so those are some things I’m looking forward to getting into.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
First things first is turn on the film and watch me play, I’m passionate and I lay it all on the line every game every snap, I hate losing as much as I love winning so whoever comes in contact with me know that you will not be wasting your time.
