Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
This past season I had three main goals I wanted to accomplish. My number one goal was to be named an All-American, which I accomplished by being named to the AFCA 1st team, and the Division III AP 2nd team. My other two main goals were to be All-Conference and to led my conference in turnovers. I accomplished both of these goals as well finishing with 7 interceptions, 3 fumble recoveries, and 2 forced fumbles.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say that I am a very driven and determined player that will do whatever it takes to be successful on the field. With a very high football IQ, and not afraid to put my body on the line for the team.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
When I am studying film I am very detail oriented and looking at smaller details such as alignments, formations, and tendencies that will give the defense an edge on the opponent and allow us to play fast.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I believe my versatility on the field and knowledge of the game is what separates me from other prospects. I have played many different positions and defensive schemes over the years.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
It has been tough with COVID-19 going on, but this offseason I decided to get back to the basics. I have been doing more speed training with hills and field workouts. Along with the weight room to get bigger, faster, and stronger.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My leadership, versatility, and positive attitude. I am a difference maker on the field, and lead by example by doing everything the right way with no excuses on and off the field.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL/CFL or any other pro leagues?
All I need is a chance! I have the drive and determination to play at the next level, and can play any special teams you need. Also my football IQ and ability to pick up a defensive playbook and learn it quickly anywhere I go.
