Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?

I was elected to be a captain by my fellow teammates, which was a goal of mine and a great honor. I wanted to be selected as a first team all-conference player, which I was unanimously. I also wanted to end my career as the all-time leader in receiving yards and touchdowns, and I was able to accomplish that, too.

Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?

My coaches would describe me as an extremely hard worker and an ultimate competitor. Somebody who hates to lose in anything and is willing to do whatever it takes to help the team. I also think they would describe me as someone who is a passionate leader and brings consistent energy to meetings, practices and games.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I start off by focusing on the entire defense and look for tendencies. I then hone in on the cornerbacks, safeties and linebackers and try to pick up on individual tendencies. I then focus on certain receivers and see how the defense is playing them. Lastly, I focus on what the other receivers did, what worked and what didn’t.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

The main thing that separates me from other receivers are my ball skills, ability to make circus catches and ability to make tough catches look routine. I also take pride in my route running and ability to create separation with it. Lastly, my competitive edge, work ethic and limitless drive to better myself and better my game.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I have been training at EFT in Chicago with Kerry Neal. In two focused months of training I have been getting big results. I have had to drive back and forth from Indianapolis and Chicago for school, my internship with Adidas, and workouts back home, and I am very excited to be able to commit all of my time to my training.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I am a very passionate leader on and off the field and want the best for and out of my teammates. If you ask any of my coaches and teammates, they will tell you I am a high energy guy that has a huge desire to work and win. I am a quick learner and very coachable. They will also be getting a Christian, humble man who is ready to work and do whatever his team needs to get better.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

I am a very good WR with a unique set of skill and intangibles. I was the most accomplished receiver that has ever played at my University, but know that I am nowhere near my full potential.  I am a very eager learner and relentless worker who loves the process of getting better. I am a leader on and off the field who helps get the best out of his teammates. In the end, a team that gives me an opportunity will get a guy who loves football , a guy who will work his ass off and compete every day, a player who will improve every week, and man who will represent his team well on and off the field.
