Q: In your final collegiate season, what goals did you accomplish this fall or set for this upcoming spring?

I wanted to break my own record that I set when I first got there which was a season avg of 45.7, I ended up beating that with a 46.7 yard avg this year. I also wanted to break the career avg set by a punter which I did with a 45.7 yard avg. I set a goal every year to make first team all-conference and win the ray guy but I fell short of those goals each year by only making second team all-conference and making the semifinals for the ray guy award in my time at WSU.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

Dependable, accountable, helpful, one of the hardest workers they know. The strength coaches see me do drill for an hour every day in the weight room for one hour before practice even starts.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

For the most part I study myself to see what I can change or fix to become the best player I can be. I try not to focus on the opposing team because if I can hit a great ball and have the returner fair catch in then it doesn’t matter how fast, quick or strong he is.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

The main thing that separates me is my work ethic. I’m not as gifted with height, strength, and all the above, but I sure as hell will outwork my opponents. There is a reason why I finish top of the leaderboards at the end of the season.

Q: What is your plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities, especially with the virus limiting pro days/training facilities/etc?

My plan is to eat right, workout every morning at 6am, do drill work and then have a great kicking session later that day. Along with that I will be training with my coaches to fix anything we need in order for me to hit my best ball.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I will bring accountability to the team along with relentless effort. In college I received two degrees along with getting my real estate license in the state of Texas and Washington and sold multiple homes DURING the season. I stride the be the best on and off the field, I like to work hard in any opportunity I get.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL/CFL or any other professional leagues?

I would say that whoever picks me up is getting a great one. I Punt, Hold, Kickoff, and do field goals. I have great character on and off the field.
