Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I really just wanted to use my last year to appreciate the game and make the most out of every aspect. With back to back season ending injuries you become grateful for all facets of the game; some of which may have been overlooked before.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would elaborate on being a team first player who leads by example. Approaches the game in a very business like manner who strives to help the team as well as my full potential.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I try and focus on the type of scheme a team runs and connect how Defensive coordinators calls certain situations. Therefore one can get into the other team’s coordinators head and that helps when determining what they’re trying to accomplish based on the situation and the look they’re giving you.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

The way how I’ve developed a mindset to always treat every aspect of life “as a pro”. Unfortunately but also fortunately I’ve had the opportunity to see the game through a coaches eyes. Being injured I was involved in game planning and then being in the box and watching things play out from a different viewpoint. That provided me valuable insights I could take back onto the field when able.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I plan on staying in the best possible shape physically while focusing on various aspects of running. Working with my throwing coach as well to continue getting meaningful reps as well as strengthening my shoulder.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I bring the ability to be an extension of the coaches mind on the field. Which is valuable during preparation as well on gameday.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

To whom whatever teams takes a chance. You will be getting someone who will be nothing but beneficial to the organization and will strive for greatness endlessly.
