Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

My goals for this my final collegiate season were to leave a LEGACY there at Idaho State and if I did so, the numbers and stats would all add up. Get on the Buch Buchanan award watch list.

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Smart, sure tackler, play maker.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

Didn’t have the opportunity like other players to have an agent after season or mid-season to go train at a facility that other athletes do! I trained at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

When studying film, I look for certain keys that a team focuses on. Consistency of a play ran, what the team does or for certain defenses. I focus on the play that our defense will run for that offense and key on certain guys and players to work certain moves or how the quarterback makes his reads. Route combination by the receivers and running backs and so I can determine where my window is. I make a binder for the season to keep track of the team that week so I could be faster with play recognition pre-snap and to help my defense also with what they see or what will be coming at them.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

I have a great amount of knowledge for the game, I enjoy doing this, I enjoy the process and always looking to get better. My motivation and dedication towards football goes further than just accepting to play the sport!

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I will bring a drive and caring mentality. I care for how we play and what the outcome is. I want to go get better and in general I want the team better. When it comes to special teams or being on the field for a snap, I’m going all out and will play whatever so the TEAM can get better! Off the field comes with being a good person, respect and respect will be received, that’s the most important thing I look forward to. Set an example of what you want to be and be it and achieve it. I don’t play the sport and don’t have a goal just to reach it, take an example like the NFL. I don’t just want to go to the NFL I want to be the best at what I do and also leave a legacy.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

Any coach should know that when I get that chance, it’s going to be the best they have seen. I’m going to give it my all from any position that I am playing. I do this because I love the sport and the love for the game. I want to be the best at what I do and help the ones around be to become better as well!
