What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
The goals I set were to become the best player at my position as I possibly could so I could help my team be successful and also become an All-American which I accomplished.
Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?
I think I made a great choice of coming back for my covid year because it just gave me a chance to improve my game mentally and physically as a QB.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My teammates and coaches would say I’m an extremely hard worker and a great leader on and off the field. I really pushed my team every chance I got.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I watch what defenses teams play against different offensive formations and also certain tendencies the players have in order to get an edge on them.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I think what separates me from other pro prospects is that I am a guy that will literally do anything to win. I’d put my body on the line for my team and show my teammates that they can count on me because I hold myself to a high standard and I hold myself accountable.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I plan to throw at least 3 times a week and train every other day. I plan on keeping my nutrition up to par as well. I also look forward to getting my name out there and exposed because who you know is important.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I will bring leadership that is going to push his teammates and prepare them the best I can.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
My final pitch is that if anyone picks me up they will definitely know that they made the right decision because I bring energy and good positivity to the field.
