Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

​To dominate every game. Help lead my team to a Conference USA championship and become an All-American.

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Relentless, Smart, Consistent.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

​I’ve been improving my speed and lateral movement while working with my strength and conditioning coach Ryan Filo.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

As a Linebacker, I would look at the alignment and the formation first. I would look for player’s tendencies while evaluating different formations. Players I study the most are Offensive Lineman, Quarterbacks, and Running Backs.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

​My work ethic, passion, mental acuity, leadership, and instincts.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

​My effort, passion, leadership, instincts, and physical ability. I’m trust worthy and I understand what it means to become a pro. Being early and consistent is key. With consistent action creates consistent results. I understand off the field I am a reflection of myself and the organization that I represent.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

​I am a football player that’s a leader and winner. Every place I have played, whether it’s New Mexico Military, Hutchison, or University of Texas San Antonio, I have been at the top of the charts in my conference and on my team.
