What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

The goals that I set in my senior year were to increase the respect level from teams, and make them not throw my way.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I think I did a great job, it added a lot of extra film, and help me grow more as a player, and student of the game.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say that I am a player that you can only find one of, I lock down a whole side of a field, and that is a very hard job to do, and I get it done.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When studying film my focus is on how the other team is moving the ball around. Which guys they like putting the ball in their hands, and from the little things receivers do when they know they are getting the ball.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

The ability to sit in man coverage, and lock a whole side of a field down. Other thing is that I am a versatile player that has played Strong safety, free safety, Nickel, and Corner. Not many can say they have done that.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My offseason plan to train is to gain a little more weight, increase speed, and reaction time. This will help me move to the next level easy.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

The strengths I will bring to a team is a smart player than can be moved around from different positions due to formation, and can produce no matter where I am. I am also a businessman so that help with the off field outlook of things.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My name is Kyron Norwood, and I am ready for any team to take a chance on the most versatile Defensive Back in college. You’re getting a smart player, that can lock the field up, and a player that can cover sideline to sideline also. I’m ready NFL and CFL!
