Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

To maximize every opportunity, to be selfless, and to prove what value I brought as a player.

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Physical, workhorse, visionary

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I’ll work with Atlet Sports to help me get faster, stronger, more explosive, and to maintain balance and footwork. I also work with Arron Piper who holds the 100 meter record at SFA to get extra speed training because to play at the next level you have to be able to move efficiently.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

I look at the defensive fronts (3 techs, shades, 4i’s etc.) just to get an idea of where combos are supposed to happen and who’s reaching the linebackers. Also, I look for blitz schemes so I know which man to pick up in pass protection.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

Pass protection, I have a passion for blocking on pass plays, but I also can run and catch out the backfield.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Leadership by action, attention to detail, and just the overall passion for the game to love what you do and elevate the people around you.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

I can run, block, and catch out the backfield. I put a lot of emphasis on pass protection. I also had the most yards at SFA since 2014 great Gus Johnson who played in the NFL. I’ll take any opportunity that God puts in my path and make the most of it!
