Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?
I accomplished that I wanted to be 1st Team All-Conference this season.
Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?
They can say that I’m committed and very competitive and meticulous about my craft.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
First and foremost, I go off formations they dictate during the ball game. Next, I move into down and distance and I see the offensive tendencies.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
My Football IQ separates me from a lot of players. Most people just play off pure athleticism, I actually know the game and study it, knowing concepts and schemes.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I’m training like it’s no tomorrow, twice a day, 7 days a week. I have to give it everything I got. I have a daughter depending on me to make it happen, so it’s all or nothing.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Just the amount of extra hours I put into my craft to make sure I’m ready and at the best I can be each and every day. On the field, I’m a ball magnet and I just make plays. I’m always around the ball.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
I’m the best cornerback in college football. Take a chance and you won’t regret your decision, I can promise you that.
