Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Some of the goals I set for myself was to be top 5 in the conference in tackles for loss and sacks. While also getting voted all conference and I achieved those goals. I also wanted to help my team win as much as I can and do my job.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say I am a reliable player and a team player. I always want what’s best for the team and I am always willing to put my personal goals aside and my body on the line to help the team achieve our goals. I am a hard worker and a leader and try to make everyone around me better.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When studying film I focus on offensive linemen techniques and how they play and respond to moves. Alignments from the RB’s, TE’s, and WR’s also help me diagnose plays before they happen so I can fully understand what the offense is trying to do. I look out for individual tendencies of offensive linemen so I can be a step ahead when it’s game time.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from other pro prospects is my durability, hard work, and willingness to do the dirty work and grind. I show up every day with the same attitude and mentality and I am willing to do everything I can to do my job and make plays for the betterment of the team. I’m unselfish and always eager to learn, and my availability and ability to do so many different things on the field makes me a versatile player as well.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My offseason program will be spent mostly in Florida training with pros and having a nutritionist learning how to eat, train, and live like a pro. I will be doing position drills, combine drills, and working on my overall fitness to increase my numbers and be in the best shape of my life so when my opportunity comes I will be at my full potential.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Strengths I would bring to a team are my availability to be on the field because I am a durable player who takes care of their body and work hard to be available for the team and produce. Another strength I would bring to a team is my leadership and grittiness. I love doing the dirty work and never avoid work and always want to do things the right way. I’m an aggressive player and would be a strong point on the field no matter where I am at.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch to NFL teams scouting me would be that I can make any team better because of my leadership, character on and off the field, work ethic, and my ability to be coached and grow as a player. I would describe myself as a machine, I get the job done, I don’t use excuses, I’m always available and more than willing to do all of the work necessary and then some. I will continue to strive to be the best that I can be in every aspect of my life and I will provide an old school grittiness to any team.
