What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

To make, and leave a lasting impact on my school and my teammates.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I believe that I used my extra year to prove that I can play at a high level and that I was able to fully recover from ACL surgery.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

Traits about myself described by a teammate or coach would be passionate, physical, explosive and intelligent.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When watching film I look for things such as tendencies of opponents, whether it be from a technique or scheme standpoint. I also pay attention to tendencies of mine that could be potentially exploited.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I believe that my instinct and obsession with the nuances of football is something that separates myself and other individuals that do what I do. I am always eager to learn and I am always getting better.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My offseason plan is to train at Athletic Performance Enhancement Center (APEC – Tyler).

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Blocking. The ability to be a big receiver with foot speed that can make any play (short intermediate, long). The ability to process the game cognitively and make split second improvisations. Maturity and good decision making are also things that benefit me both on and off of the field.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I have not come close to reaching my full potential, I’m the best kept secret. Take a chance and i’ll prove you right!
