Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

My main goal going into the season was to do whatever I could to help my team win a SWAC Championship. Another goal of mine was to be an All-American as a Receiver and Returner.

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Blistering, Self-Assured, and Astute.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

Currently I am training for pro day at Dimension Sports Performance with Coach Brandon in Pearland, TX. I have also been working on my route running, getting in and out of breaks faster, and efficiently with Coach Reggie Moore at Ollin in Cypress, TX. Additionally, I watch film on current and former NFL Receivers to help enhance my play at Receiver.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

When I am studying film, I look for the flaws in my opponent’s game, watch the coverages the defense primarily runs, and I also look to see how the Corners trigger on runs and bubble screens.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

The things that separate me mostly from other players at my position are my speed, hands, route running, ability to beat press coverage, attacking the ball, blocking, and most importantly, my IQ for the game.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My strengths and abilities on the field are being able to blow the top off of defenses, making defenders miss in the open field, turning short completions into big gains, catching in traffic, moving the chains, and in the return game flip the field position for my team. Not only do I have strengths on the field, but I have strengths off the field as well for example, I am genuinely humble, kind, a child of God, accountable, dedicated to any and everything that I do, and further more, I am always willing to help the community and people in need. On the other hand, I am looking to start a mentoring program to help young males who grew up without a father at home.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

For the team that takes me, you will get an individual that’s going to work hard and give you everything he has to offer and for the teams that didn’t take an chance on me, you will pay for passing on me.
