What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My final goal was to win another Conference championship and get a chance to compete Nationally. My team was very successful with that and it has lead to culture change.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I was able to get an entire cycle of training. I became bigger, faster, and stronger which only added to my game.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I believe they would say that I am selfless and take on any role necessary for the success on my team and my coach has described me as playing with a boulder on my shoulder and constantly wanting more from myself and finding any kind of motivation to prove anyone who doubts me wrong.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I focus primarily on if my effort in practice shows semblance in games. If my week of preparation was not up to my standards I see that in my film and immediately correct it and nobody will ever be a harder critic on me than myself.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

This may be a common answer, but the kind of heart I possess is truly unmatched. I have always been an underdog and “slept” on and I have continued to achieve. I have a desire to play football and dominate in football that has been placed in me by God and I will continue to honor God and my family and that kind of motivation is unwavering.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

Currently I’m in the “engine building” stage where I am back home with my longtime facility, Performance Edge, where numerous professional athletes have trained and I’m continuing to get bigger, faster, and stronger.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I said this earlier, but I have a relentless heart. I will do whatever it takes to do what is right on and off the field.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

Since high school and all through college, I have prided myself on being the most reliable part of the game and coaches have leaned on me in the the biggest games and in the toughest situations to make it happen for them and I have ultimately been successful in that role. When the pressure has been at the highest and I am up against the absolute best is when I shine the brightest.
