Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

One goal I set for myself was just to be a guy my teammates can count on to make plays week in and week out. Also wanted to go back and win a national championship again with Ferris State . I accomplished both of the goals I set out to achieve.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I believe my coaches would say I’m a player that just gets it. I understand what needs to be done in the position I’m in and I get it done.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I study film I watch how the opposing O-Line would presumably block me, I tend to also watch a lot of game film on myself, just watching what I did and did not do. The improvements come from watching those things and then translating them to practice and games.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from other prospects, I’m quick, fast and strong with great feet and hands. I get off the ball and off blocks to make plays in the backfield. I also like to do the dirty work that helps others make plays. I’m not selfish and I understand the team’s success is more important than individual success. I also have an athletic background in basketball that helps me understand spacing, angles and how to attack the opposition.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My offseason plan has already started. I am currently Pro-Day training with Jim Kelbaso at Impact Sports Performance in Novi, MI.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My strengths are being smart, knowing how to work in a team setting and groups, understanding plays, personnel and player tendencies. More strengths would be playing gap sounds football, understanding my job and duties on the field and I’m not afraid to go out and make plays! I love pass rushing and making TFLs! Off the field I keep to myself, I find myself as a person who just goes home and to work and that’s really it. I’m not really into “fun” unless it is celebrating championships!

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I would pitch to NFL teams and other pro leagues to watch the tape! And not judge me off measurables!
