Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
Being a graduate transfer at ETSU, my goal was simply to help the team in any way possible and do whatever was asked of me to the best of my ability. I knew that starting over on a brand new team and coming straight in for fall camp would not be easy. Nothing was given to me, and I started from the very bottom. I aimed to take advantage of every opportunity I was given by my coaches, and I definitely think I made the best of my opportunities and did a lot of good things that I can be proud of.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I think they would say that I am a consistently high effort player and very versatile/can be used almost anywhere on the field.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
I think the most important thing to pay attention to while watching film are the little details. Almost anyone can learn the playbook, but things like taking the correct steps, alignments, hat placements, etc. are highly important and can separate one player from the rest.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
Versatility. I have played both offense and defense and almost every position on every special team at some point during my college career. I think of myself as a player that can step in and be utilized almost anywhere.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I have been combine training since our season ended last year for our pro day that was canceled due to the coronavirus. I have been able to continue training consistently so that if opportunities present themselves, I will be ready to go.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I believe I have the size, strength, and speed to compete with anyone on the field. Off the field, I feel that I am very dependable, mature, and high character.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL/CFL or any other pro leagues?
I am a player that will be on time, stay out of trouble, do anything that is asked of me to the best of my ability, and will be thankful for any opportunity I am given and take nothing for granted. I expect nothing and am hungry for an opportunity to show what I can do.
