Q: In your final collegiate season, what goals did you accomplish this fall or set for this upcoming spring?

Some goals I accomplished this spring was having the career high in tackles on my team and that gave me the career high in tackles, interceptions, and forced fumbles. I also have the school record for solo career tackles. My other goal was to stay healthy.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say I’m a leader and consistent. They would say I’m a playmaker and someone who pushes to see his teammates make plays and celebrates them. I try to bring everybody up to my level.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I focus a lot on the WR routes and route combinations, how accurate the QB is in his 3 step and 5 step throws, lineman splits, and tendencies within certain formations just to name a few things.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I think what separates me is that I’m self aware and understand the things I need to improve on. I am also a quick learner and I know how to adapt to any situation thrown at me. I am someone who stays out of trouble off the field and regardless of the situation can bring a positive energy to the field.

Q: What is your plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities, especially with the virus limiting pro days/training facilities/etc?

I plan on touching up techniques and fixing the small things. I have incorporated more yoga and plan to go in the weight room to build strength and use more resistant training for speed. I also will keep studying film and learning things to watch for when I’m studying offenses on film.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I am a people person I know how to communicate with people and that builds chemistry on and off the field. I also am quick at adapting to changes and great at diagnosing a problem and solving it.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL/CFL or any other professional leagues?

I’m someone who knows how to play the game and I’m only diving deeper into the depths of football. I know how to adapt to the next level. You’ll have a player that no matter where placed can make an impact. I push myself and critique myself harder than anyone and I can do just as good if not better than the next man while receiving less than him. I work hard and dedicate my time to football. I don’t need others to push me or hype me up I come with my own fire lit up. If a crowd is behind me, against me, or not there at all I bring my own energy. I’m a perfectionist I like to be perfect on the field and I believe it’s possible so I work towards it.
