What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Coming into the season I had the goal to be an all conference safety. At the end of the year I was unanimously picked to be 1st team all conference. I had also set the goal of having another 100 tackle season but fell just short of this goal and ended up with 90 tackles on the year.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

Over the summer of the Covid year I got connected with the current Buccaneers cornerback Pierre Desir. During this summer me and him worked out on the field together almost every day and focused on breaks, footwork, speed, and overall ball skills. This helped me tremendously going into my senior year and during the Covid year I had ample enough time to make sure my body was healthy and as strong as possible.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I think that my coaches and teammates would say I am a great leader on and off the field for the team. They would also say I come prepared everyday and am ready to put the work in that is needed to be successful. My teammates would say that I am sort of the enforcer or big hitter on our defense that likes to set the tone early in the game.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

The first thing that I focus on when watching other teams film is trying to find any tells that the other team has. Wether this be the team running certain plays out of specific formations, players stances changing depending on what they are doing, specific motions/speed of motions, or hand placements. After diagnosing a teams overall offense then I go into specific player analyzation to see what what their tendencies are so i know how to better match up with them.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I believe what separates me from other players at my position is my overall football knowledge. I am a fast learner and am capable of learning new defenses very quickly. I am able to align every person on the field and capable of knowing the entire defense at every position.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

Currently I have been working out and training mostly on my own with the help of a trainer who works a lot on mobility and stability. I am currently still looking for a place to go and train for a pro day.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I believe my best strength on and off the field that I can bring to any team is my character. I am not a guy that you have to worry about getting in trouble on or off the field. I will come and prepared each and every day and will help push others to be successful.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch would have to be that if you give me the opportunity you will not find any other person that will work harder to be successful. If you need somebody to go run through a big brick wall on special-teams I am that guy. I am willing to do whatever is necessary and play any position to get on the field. I take pride in special teams and believe that I could have a big impact on every special team and am just looking for an opportunity.
