Q: In your final collegiate season, what goals did you accomplish this fall or set for this upcoming spring?
I put a strong emphasis on being the player my teammates could depend on to make big plays consistently. I believe that I accomplished that throughout the whole season.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say that I’m a leader on and off the field. I have a great feel for the game and that I am dependable and hard working.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
I’m always looking at ways I can improve for the next week. If there was something that I didn’t do to well the previous week, I’m looking to improve on it going into the next game.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I’m very versatile, I’ve played Corner, Nickel, and Safety throughout my career and I have had success at each position. I can line up and cover on the outside and inside and I’m good with run support and I can pressure the quarterback.
Q: What is your plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities, especially with the virus limiting pro days/training facilities/etc?
I plan to train at a facility in Dallas, TX with a small group of people and to practice social distancing. I know the virus has stopped a lot of things from happening but it won’t affect my training.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I’m a player that has great character and I’m a natural leader. I have a very high motor and I love football and I believe my personality would rub off on my teammates.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL/CFL or any other professional leagues?
I am a very versatile player with a good football IQ. I love football and I am a student of the game. With me being able to play every position in the secondary I truly believe that I can be a huge asset to any team.
