Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
My goals heading into my senior season were to do what I could to impact my team to turn the tradition around and start winning more games at A&M.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Confident, Explosive, and Prepared.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I will train with Lonnie Brown with DBL Training, focusing on speed, gaining weight, and explosiveness.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
When studying film, I first check out my Receivers size and look at their releases off the ball. I look for certain stems or tendencies when running particular routes. I look at Quarterback tendencies and signals to Receivers, as well as splits of the Receivers that give away certain route combos. I may also check out the Tackles stances that can give away whether it’s run or a pass.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
I think my high football IQ and my desire to always learn more about the game sets me apart. I am very confident and have to be prepared to battle and fight for every ball. I have great ball skills and can explode in the air and play balls that most DBs cant make plays on.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
When a team brings me to camp, they will receive a player who is constituent and dependable. They will receive a player that will give them nothing less than 100% and a player who will continue to keep working and learning more about the game to bring a positive impact to his teammates and team as a whole.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
My final pitch is that you will receive a player who really loves the game and desires to be great. I have fought to make it to achieve this goal and you will not be disappointed if given the opportunity.
