Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?

Some of the main goals that I wanted to accomplish this year was to help my team have a winning season and make it to the playoffs for the first time in school history. We were blessed and fortunate enough to have both of those things happen.

Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?

My coaches would say that I am a playmaker and can control and take over the game at any moment. I feel that if you watch any one of my games you are able to see that.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When I am watching film on myself I never pay attention to the things that I “did good” I focus on the things that I messed up or had problems with. From practice film I pay attention to the other guys that are getting reps and try to pick up and learn something from what they are doing.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

I feel that what separates me from the other players at my position is while being able to make all the throws from the pocket, I can extended plays with my feet. Getting out of the pocket when things break down and being able to keep my eyes down field to find an open Receiver instead of just tucking the ball and running is where I feel like I separate myself.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I train 6 days a week working with Plex and QB Club of Houston and also SJ training to prepare me for pro day and any other pro workouts I have coming up.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

One thing that a team will see is the extra work I put in and getting guys to put that extra work in with me. The time that I will spend in the film room. The work that I will do to help out the community.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

My final pitch to all of the organizations is that all I’m asking for is an opportunity and I will work my butt off to show them why they should take a chance on me!
