Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I earned first team all big sky honors and led the conference in tackles for lost. Also won the big sky championship. The goal was to bring Sac State it’s first championship. And we accomplished just that.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say I’m the player who will be the leader on the field and a brother off the field. I show love to all my peers.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
When watching film I study the offensive line. From the center all the way to the tackles. I need to know pre snap tendencies and weaknesses in order for me to adjust my game to beat the man in front of me. When i watch film on myself I try to better something about my game everyday.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
The thing that separates me from other pro prospects is self explanatory. The personality, passion , and other attributes I bring to the game cannot be duplicated. I am one of a kind.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
Our strength coach Ryan Deatrick at Sacramento State has been helping me improve physically by training me 5 days a week. Due to the virus outbreak, he gave me a in home routine that will help me keep going while things are hectic.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
The strengths and abilities that I can bring to a team on the field is a dominate 3 tech or 4i tech that can get to the quarterback, as well as play the run effectively. Off the field I bring accountability to the table. If you need a job done you can count on me.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
To all professionals teams. I’m from Seaside , California. A small city located in Northern California. Coming out of high school i had to adapt the mindset that i must out work peers in order to get a shot. That mindset still remains the same as I came out of an FCS program looking for a shot. In conclusion, I have my senior year highlights ready. And the film will speak for itself.
