Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Given that I was a grad transfer, I wanted to come in and be a leader for this new team I was that consisted of mostly freshmen & sophomores. I also wanted to make sure we ended our season with a win against our rivals (Richmond) and I was able to accomplish both.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

A team first player who will do whatever the team needs to ensure we win. Coachable, Instinctive & Respected Leader.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

My main focus is to watch the Offensive lineman’s tendencies. From the way he shoots his hands in pass protection to how he blocks in the run game. After that I look at a lot of film on myself to see where I need to sharpen my technique. I look at my movement, the moves I do and how I can apply my game with whatever defense we are running for that game.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My mindset is the first. I have been through many trials and tribulations throughout my career which has sharpened my mind to the strongest version that it has ever been at. Also the fact that I have played in many “big games” is important to me. I’m not fazed by great competition and I will rise to the occasion. I have also had the opportunity to play DT & DE throughout college, so I have the ability & skillsets from both positions for my arsenal. I can play the run, drop back, rush the passer & make plays in the backfield.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My offseason plans have consisted of me training back in my home state with my longtime trainers, yoga, pool workouts and other various recovery options. The end goal is to put on more weight along with improving speed & strength.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Off the field: Someone who is respectable, loves to give back to the community and bring love to the community and the people around me. On the field: One who will be able to play the run as well as put pressure on the QB. One who can play in the backfield at all times and play with motor.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

If you are looking for someone who is hungry, someone who has a lot to prove not only for himself, but the rest of the world. Someone who is versatile and will do whatever it takes to win. Then I am him.
