I took advantage of my extra year to show scouts that I can be a key contributor to a defense as well as still making an impact on special teams

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My teammates and coaches would describe me as a player that works extremely hard and will take on any role that will help the team be successful. I started on every special team for 3 years before becoming a defensive starter, so I understand the importance of sacrifice and putting yourself in the best position to help the team reach its goals.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I’m studying film, I really focus on my eye progression. I ask myself, “What are my key indicators for this play?” “Do they have any repetitive tendencies or give aways?” What are my adjustments based on formation?”. Asking myself these questions during film study makes my thought process faster when it’s live action.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from the others at my position is my attitude and my versatility. I try to see the good in every situation even if it’s one you hadn’t planned for or expected. And as far as my versatility, I have played every line backer position in my college career whether it be middle, weak side, or strong side, as well as multiple positions on all of the major special teams.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My offseason plan is to continue working out with my trainer Andreu Swasey to continue to improve on every part of my game.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

On the field I intend to bring an energy and work ethic that provide any team with the spark they have been searching for whether it be on defense or special teams. And off the field I look to be have an impact on the community and help whichever organization I’m blessed to be a part of be a positive influence on the surrounding area.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch is that I can’t wait to get the opportunity to help an organization on their road to success. Big thank you to Gridiron Crew, excited to see what the future holds!
