What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

One of the most important goals that I set for myself for my senior season was to have fun. This goal was easily accomplished with the tremendous teammates that I had around me. Also everyone wants to win a championship and I was fortunate enough to win one with my team in the spring of 2021.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

The extra year of eligibility allowed me to consistently showcase my abilities on film on defense and on special teams. Being a guy that has moved around on both sides of the ball, my senior year allowed me to showcase that I can truly play the outside linebacker position.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say that I am determined and I am a team player. As I stated earlier, I was a guy that moved around on both sides of the ball trying to find a true position where I could help my team the most. My senior year I found that position.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When studying film I focus on reading my keys and tendencies of my opponent so I can have an advantage and know when to expect certain things.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me is that I am long, I can run and I am big and physical enough to take on blockers. This not only benefits me on the defensive side of the ball, but it benefits me on special teams.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My off-season plan is to work on my flexibility which will allow me to continue to improve as an athlete and I plan to pack on a few more pounds.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I strive to take advantage of every opportunity presented to me. I know what it means to be a professional and I will take that approach day in and day out. When I become a veteran I will be a mentor to younger men, and help them make great decisions on and off the field.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I am an athlete, and although my film is limited I display the skill set and tools that you can’t teach. I am 6’4 224 pounds. Physicality is my game and I have a wide receiver background so I can run and I also have an overall understanding of football being that I appeared on both sides of the ball. I am versatile and appeared on all sides of the ball for James Franklin at Penn State in 2018. The team that takes a chance on me will have found a diamond in the rough!
