Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?
I accomplish my collegiate goal with 6+ turnovers in my senior year that was top 5 in the RMAC.
Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?
My coach says I’m a “Hard worker, very knowledgeable of the game, and has a high motor. Has a high IQ when I am in my element and I fly around and ball hawk”.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
When I’m watching film, I look how the wide receiver aligns theirselves, either if it’s on the numbers or on/off the numbers. Also, what type of tendencies they have. I really like to see if they are a physical player or someone that is just passive.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
What really separates me from other players at my position is I’m a ball hawk. I’m a versatile player, I can play on the slot area and on the outside. Just put me anywhere and I can cover it for you. Very smart during the play, so I can eliminate routes just by my technique.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I will train at my school, Black Hills State University with my Strength and Conditioning coach . We will work on getting faster and quicker. Working on fast twitch muscles and also getting in and out of my breaks faster. Just perfecting the craft at my position. Also, getting stronger and building better muscle stamina.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I will bring a competitive nature to the field, someone that will give it their all on every play. I’m a very passionate player of the game. I also bring speed and versatility because you can line me up anywhere and we will be “very productive”. Off the field, I will bring good character. I’ll get along with anyone that I’m around. I like getting involved with community activities.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
To the scouts of all pro levels, I just need an opportunity and I can say you won’t regret anything! You will be receiving someone that is very passionate about the game of football. I will give everything I have and even more 100-110%.
