What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

The goals I set for this season was to be conference champions, win the Mayor’s Cup back, and to earn All Conference for the third year in a row. Although we fell short of winning the conference championship, we won the Mayor’s Cup back which was very important for the Program. I also made All Conference for the third year in a row.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

This extra year has helped me grow a lot as a player. While having that extra time to watch film, It allowed me to put in extra work on my technique and improve. This year, I have gotten much faster and stronger.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say that I’m very hardworking, I give it my all on the field every time, and a great leader. I am not the loudest guy but I lead by example and do all the things that I’m supposed to be doing correctly. They would also say that I’m very coachable.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I like to look at the tendencies of the guys that are gonna be lined up across from me. I like to take notes on their strengths, weaknesses, and understand the route concepts out of the formations that they run. This helps me have more confidence when doing my job on the field.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I’m a well Polished DB that can play both in the box and also out in space. I’m a hard hitter that has the drive to get the ball at all cost whether it’s getting an interception or forcing a fumble. Wherever I am needed on the field I will get the job done.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My offseason plan is to become bigger, stronger, and faster. Also I plan to continue to work on bettering my technique and staying in shape while waiting for my opportunity to play at the next level.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I would bring leadership, versatility, and reliability to a team through my mindset of wanting to be the best teammate and player I can be on and off the field.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I’m a guy from a very small school who can make plays. Playing pro ball has been my dream since I was a little kid. If I have the opportunity to play, I will give it my all every time I touch that field. Do not sleep on D3 football, we have some great players that deserve an opportunity to play at the next level.
