Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Before the season, I wanted to improve my vocal leadership. I have always been a leader by example and this year I believe I took that responsibility to the next level. I wanted my guys to know exactly what I’m thinking so we can be on the same page as a team. Another goal that I set at the beginning was to prepare more efficiently. And this started in practice, by making every rep count and making sure timing and small details are in order.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches would describe me as a competitor, leader, and playmaker. I hate losing and will do all that I can to win.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When watching film, I always check my footwork and my decision making. I ask myself if I made the right reads and right throws. Before I can throw, though, my footwork must be on point. I watch to see if I navigate the pocket well and if I got the ball out on time.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I believe three things going for me are my size, confidence, and will to win. I’m not afraid to stand in the pocket or create a play scrambling. Whatever I can do to get the ball to my receivers, I will do.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My plan for the offseason is to train hard and often. I have several friends and past teammates who I can workout with and throw to. I plan on losing a small amount of weight and becoming faster and stronger. I will also be studying plays and concepts, both on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball to sharpen my mind going into the professional aspect of the game.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

No matter where I end up, I believe I will present the organization with a hard-working, studious, and successful leader.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

I say this humbly, and I believe that I am capable of thriving at the next level, wherever that may be. I will take any opportunity with utmost gratitude and will work relentlessly to improve. I am just looking for a chance to prove that.
