What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
This was my senior year at a new school and the only goal I had was to add value to the organization before I left and to bring smiles to the people around me. I feel like the direction the program is going in now I accomplished those goals.
Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?
I showed that TE is just a label. I can line up anywhere and make a play. Whether is offensively or on special teams.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say I’m selfless and I’m the hardest worker around.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
My hand placement on blocking and how does a defense give up what coverage they are playing.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I don’t think there is another TE that can run routes efficiently from the outside and inside as well as I do. I can beat LBs and DBs the same way.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
Keep training so when my name is called I’ll be ready to show what I have to offer.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I take pride in doing the extra work to make sure things get done. Whether that’s extra reps after practice or a players only film session to make sure we all are on the same page.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I am a player you can line up at X,Y,Z,H and get a ton of production whether is me running routes or me going to block. I play all special teams all I have the speed to do Kick off and gunner on punt as well. Getting me is like getting a position less player because I’m very versatile.
