What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
A couple goals that I set for my final collegiate season was to win the championship be the best leader I can be to my teammates and coaches on and off the field lastly lay it all out on the field prove why I can compete at the pro level.
Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?
I feel like receiving that extra year of eligibility gave me the opportunity to develop my game in ways it was needed my coaches always emphasize the more film you have the better your chances of making it also me being able to grow in the film room and weight room.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
I’m a team player, hardworking and dedicated to getting better always locked in and love the grind I’m a great captain easy to connect with on and off the field I do all things the right way.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I always look at my technique feet work posture, hand placement get off and setting point to see what needs to be fixed read the guy across from me look for any giveaways to make the correct read but it all starts with aggression.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I feel like my effort and versatility separates me, I can line up anywhere and get the job done, it’s no better feeling than competing I catch on to schemes, quick and watch film all day every day trying to figure out ways to be successful.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
Workout, Rest, and go over film no distractions eat healthy stretch and hydrate as much as possible my pro day is March 25 at Georgia Southern so I have to give it all I got and prove myself.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I am very coachable and always ready to learn. I am 110% percent committed to the game. I’m reliable and trustworthy. I have strong morals and have been told I’m a great guy to be around.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I’ve wanted this opportunity since I was 8 years old the time is now. I have nothing but love for the game this is my passion. I’m not going to ever stop until I get that chance. I work day in and day out I have so much in the tank! My best is yet to come. Lastly, I believe in myself, I will always remain humble I’m ready to get after it add more unforgettable moments to my life turn my dreams into reality.
