What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

The goals I set in my last collegiate season were to come into a new program and be an asset towards a winning season, to win a conference/national championship, and to have fun and enjoy what could potentially be my last time playing football. I accomplished everything except winning any championship.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

My extra year may have been different than others. I enrolled into Grand Valley St in January of 2020. So as I was adjusting to the new program, covid happened, and other circumstances led me to not being physically apart of the program until January of 2021. I worked a job and stayed in shape until the new year started.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say I prepared at a high level for games. I would watch film for hours, wrote notes in meetings , asked questions and put in additionI hours after meetings to make sure I understood everything I needed to win. Actually I pretty much lived in the stadium. I did homework, watched film, eat, and played the game at the stadium lol.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

While watching film, I watch everything from the offensive plays/concepts, tendencies that that players show, signals, body movements, etc. I also watching everything mostly in slow motion.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I think what separates me in this draft is my ability to play every special teams, and multiple positions on defense. Throughout my college career I played every specials, safety, nickel, dime, linebacker.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I’ve been training for my pro day, which is on March 14th, at Grand Valley St. From there I’m hoping to receive a call from any NFL, CFL, USFL, and/or XFL team.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I’ve shared my abilities on the field above. Off the field, any team will get a athlete who will represent the team will respect, professionalism, and class.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch is if I’m blessed with the opportunity to play at the next level, there will be no regrets. I’ll be prepared.
