Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Individually, my main goal was to be able to finish the season stronger than I had started. Which consisted of not taking any days off whether it was on the field or in the weight room. Another goal was to improve the team culture. I made it a point to be more vocal and to consistently uplift and encourage my teammates. I wanted to implement a standard of excellence that my teammates could build off of for future seasons. Due to my my resilience through the season, I was invited to play in the Dream Bowl in Salem, Virginia.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When I am studying film I focus on how I can better my pre snap assessment. I also focus on how I can have better leverage on the run as well as the pass. Lastly, I pay attention to how I can shed blocks more efficiently.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My understanding that every play matters and that I can’t take one play off, whether it is my play to make or not. My ability to play inside the box as well as over top.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

Since season has ended I have focused on my acceleration and working on my hip work and foot work. I also have been working on getting stronger as well as keeping up with my conditioning.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My ability to not only lead but my willingness to be lead and to learn. I am also coachable and always looking for ways to improve my game.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

I’ll always give my full effort, whether it’s paying attention to detail in the film room or giving 110% during practice. My willingness to help the team on special teams and on defense is unmatched.
